Summer Associates can expect to take on a variety of responsibilities dictated by our ongoing litigation needs, frequently encompassing research and writing for various phases of trial and appellate litigation, as well as administrative actions and arbitration. When possible, summer associates are given opportunities to attend client intake sessions, depositions, arbitrations, and court appearances, as well as meetings and events in the Washington, D.C. area labor community.
Requirements: Summer Associates are typically between their second and third year of law school. Applicants should have superior academic records; excellent writing, research and oral communication skills; strong work references; and a demonstrated interest in labor and employment law.
