Progressive union law firm with a New York based practice representing unions, employees, and employee benefit funds, is seeking an associate attorney. The firm, located in Melville, New York, represents clients throughout the State of New York. All attorneys in our firm have extensive client contact and will be exposed to litigation in federal and state courts as well as arbitration proceedings. The firm is seeking an attorney with three to five years or more of experience. We seek attorneys with a demonstrated commitment to social justice and/or workers’ rights. The firm’s practice necessitates significant independent responsibility, diligent case management, and a willingness to learn various aspects of union/employment law, including LMRA and Taft-Hartley ERISA Fund work.
