Friedman & Anspach is a seven-attorney firm in New York City with an active labor and employee benefits practice focusing on the representation of unions and the trustees of pension and health and welfare funds. We are looking for an associate with at least 3 years of ERISA or union-side experience for our employee benefits and labor practice. Our ERISA practice consists of representation of Taft-Hartley Funds in all matters relating to their operation and administration, including a significant litigation component. The associate would also represent unions in arbitrations, NLRB proceedings, and other matters. Admission to the New York Bar within one year of hire is required. We provide a competitive salary, fully-paid health insurance including dental coverage, a 401K plan with employer's contribution and a collegial working environment.
