A dynamic mid-town Manhattan law firm seeks to hire a full-time labor litigation & ERISA associate with 0-3+ years’ experience. The associate will participate in all aspects of our labor litigation practice, which engages in federal litigation, collective bargaining, arbitrations and consults on labor law and ERISA matters for its union and employee benefit fund clients. Requirements: The ideal candidate will have:

  • Admission to practice (or pending) in New York; admission in Connecticut is a plus. We may also consider candidates sitting for the July 2024 bar exam.
  • Experience, coursework, or desire to learn about ERISA, Taft-Hartley funds, Affordable Care Act (ACA) compliance, and Labor & Employment law.
  • Prior federal litigation experience or Journal and/or Moot Court experience.
  • Strong research, writing, problem-solving, teamwork and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Command of details and accuracy, with excellent proofreading skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in legal research databases, and Microsoft Word, Outlook, Adobe, and Excel.
