Krakow, Souris & Landry, LLC, a Boston-based law firm representing labor unions and Taft–Hartley employee-benefit funds throughout New York and New England, is seeking an associate attorney or lateral partner to join its ERISA collections practice. The position is available immediately.

Prior experience handling delinquent-contribution litigation for Taft–Hartley funds is preferred. Approximately 75% of the work of the position involves representing union-sponsored benefit funds in federal court litigation, arbitrations, settlement negotiations, post-judgment enforcement, and occasional bankruptcy proceedings. Candidates will also have the option to perform work in the firm’s traditional labor law practice, ERISA advice practice, or employment law practice, depending on their interest.

The salary ranges for the associate position are $100,000 to $160,000, depending on experience. For highly experienced candidates with an established practice, the firm is also open to discussing partnership opportunities.

The Firm is dedicated to advancing the goals of the labor movement, so the successful candidate’s experience should demonstrate a commitment to representing workers, labor unions, and/or employee-benefit funds. Massachusetts bar admission is preferred but not required. Applicants must be admitted and in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction. Candidates should possess excellent research, writing, organizational, and client-service skills and be able to manage matters independently. Attorneys at our firm are given substantial responsibility and independence and are encouraged to develop relationships with clients.

The position may be either hybrid or fully remote. Attorneys choosing the hybrid arrangement generally work in the firm’s Boston office one day per week and remotely for the remainder of the week.
