Mooney, Green, Saindon, Murphy & Welch, PC, a union-side labor law, employee benefits and constitutional and civil rights litigation law firm located in Washington, DC with a nationwide practice, is seeking an experienced trial attorney with at least seven (7) years of relevant experience to join our growing plaintiff-side practice at the of-counsel level. This is an exceptional opportunity for a skilled trial lawyer who wants to litigate meaningful FLSA, First Amendment and other constitutional and civil rights cases in federal court. There is no expectation that the attorney independently generate cases. The Firm maintains a substantial practice and cases are generated through our existing client relationships and intake systems.

Duties and responsibilities of this position include participating in all phases of federal court litigation including discovery, depositions, motions, and trial as the lead attorney. The attorney will manage litigation dockets, coordinate case strategy with other attorneys, maintain direct communication with clients, and collaborate in a team‑oriented environment.

Litigation experience in constitutional law, FLSA, employment law or labor law is preferred. Familiarity with federal court procedures and jury trial experience is required. This position includes substantial litigation responsibility, a collegial and supportive atmosphere, and excellent benefits. The base salary range for this position is $160,000-$190,000 depending on experience, plus bonuses based on billable hours. Although there is a preference for the candidate to be local to the Washington, DC area, a remote position would be available for a qualified candidate.
