Labor/Employment Law Associate

Reich, Adell & Cvitan, is seeking an associate for our Glendale, CA office with 0-5 years of experience to join our busy and vibrant union-side practice representing public and private sector unions, multi-employer employee benefit trust funds and union-affiliated PACs.

Reich Adell & Cvitan was founded nearly fifty years ago on the principle that working people deserve the same quality of legal representation that their employers can afford. From that beginning, the law firm has fought for the rights of individual employees, labor organizations, and union-related trust funds.

We are seeking an associate with 0-5 years of experience to work in our Glendale office. Our law firm represents a diverse mix of public and private sector unions and employee
benefit trust funds. Labor/employment law associates handle arbitrations, federal and state court litigation, and administrative proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board and other federal and state governmental agencies. Associates, in collaboration with partners, also provide counsel and develop strategy with our clients for organizing drives, negotiations, contract enforcement, internal union matters, and other issues.

Compensation for this position is between $104,000 and $145,000, depending on experience. We also offer excellent benefits, including employer-paid family medical/dental/vision, and a profit sharing and 401(k) plan. Candidates should be admitted (or awaiting admission) to the California Bar and have an excellent academic background and strong writing skills. We strongly prefer candidates who have some exposure to labor and employment law or demonstrated commitment to the labor movement. We prefer candidates who work well as part of a team.
