Robblee Detwiler PLLP, a union-side labor law firm in Seattle, is seeking a full-time attorney to join our practice.  We are seeking a labor attorney with 2-3 years of legal experience.  The candidate must have strong research, writing, and communication skills as well as a commitment to representing labor unions and working people.  Experience in litigation, arbitration, or traditional labor representation preferred, although candidates with experience in other areas of the law are encouraged to apply.

The firm represents private and public sector unions in every segment of organized labor across the state, including municipal employees, healthcare providers, teamsters, and workers in the building trades.  We offer challenging and diverse work within a collegial, inclusive, and friendly environment.  Our offices are located in downtown Seattle.  Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience; benefits include employer-sponsored insurance, paid time-off, paid holidays, and 401k eligibility after 12 months of employment with employer-matched contributions.  Potential for hybrid/partially-remote work after initial orientation/training period and dependent on business needs.

+REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2-3 years of experience in labor or employment law
  • Admission to the Washington State Bar or eligibility to be admitted
  • Commitment to representing labor unions and working people
  • Strong research, writing, and presentation skills
  • Collaborative demeanor, attention to detail, and motivation to assist with various projects
  • Experience in litigation, arbitration, and working before the NLRB and PERC is preferred
