Senior Attorney

Stulberg & Walsh, LLP is a New York City-based labor, employment and disability rights law boutique with a vibrant practice in public/private and domestic/cross-border workplace matters. Founded 40 years ago, we represent labor unions, executives, professionals, federal, state and municipal civil servants, hourly employees, employee benefit funds, and disability rights organizations.

In our labor practice, we represent unions in collective bargaining, grievance-arbitration, responsible contracting disputes, administrative proceedings, and judicial litigation.

In our employment practice, we represent employees, from shop floors to C-suites, in whistleblower, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, reasonable accommodation, disability income, employment/transition/separation/secondment agreements, breach of contract, restrictive covenant, wage and hour, licensing, and other disputes. 

We also have a robust docket of complex civil litigation, including a significant appellate practice, with recent precedential victories at SCOTUS and the Federal Circuit. We also serve as co-class counsel for enforcement of New York City's ADA curb ramp settlement.

We seek talented attorneys with experience in either union-side labor law or plaintiff-side employment law, and a desire to practice in both areas.

This position requires 7 or more years of experience in a relevant practice area and seeks a candidate interested in pursuing a partnership or other senior-level relationship with the Firm. This candidate must have significant experience managing a case load, representing plaintiffs and/or labor unions, and litigating in state and federal court. The ideal candidate will have established client relationships or experience developing business, but this is not a requirement. This position is for an experienced attorney who would like to join forces with like-minded, committed plaintiff/union-side lawyers in an established practice. The salary range for this position is $125-$150k+, depending on experience and the nature of the arrangement.
