Job Description
Attorneys in SEIU’s Legal Department engage in innovative lawyering to further the organization's interests in organizing non-union workers, improving working conditions for all workers, engaging in political action, and achieving social justice. This includes legal work on a wide range of litigation, regulatory and legislative matters, and policy and advising on union governance issues, organizing campaigns, and other legal work in furtherance of working people, and their communities.
Law clerks and externs in the SEIU Legal Department conduct legal research and draft legal memoranda, work with attorneys on pending litigation, attend hearings and conferences, and meet with union leaders.
Law clerks and externs are assigned to work in person in the Legal Department in Washington, D.C.
Requirements
We are interested in candidates with a demonstrated commitment to workers’ rights and social change. The successful applicant will have a strong academic background with excellent writing and researching skills. Completion of a basic labor law course is preferred but not required. Please note clerk positions are open only to current law students.

Job Description
Each Law Clerk will be involved in all aspects of the MLSPA’s Legal Department’s responsibilities, with a focus on contract administration, compliance, group licensing, and data tracking. The MLSPA is seeking a year-long, in-person commitment from law clerks (full-time hours during summer break and part-time during the academic year). As such, preferred candidates should be located in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area or within reasonable commuting distance from Spring 2026 through at least Spring 2027.

Job Description
Summer law clerks will support IAM attorneys with legal research and writing across a wide range of representational matters and organizing campaigns. Job Description
Sandulli Grace has hired a law school intern nearly every quarter since the firm was founded in 1977, and the firm is well-equipped for a summer clerk. The clerk has a desk and a computer with Lexis. The clerk has opportunities to work closely with a number of different attorneys on a variety of projects. Although legal research and writing is a significant part of the clerkship, there are usually multiple opportunities to assist attorneys at court and agency hearings, arbitrations, collective bargaining sessions, and client meetings. To the extent possible, the firm attempts to tailor the clerkship to the interests of the student. The clerkship supervisor is available to provide written and oral feedback on the clerk’s written work.

Major League Baseball Players Association (MLBPA)
About the Organization
The MLBPA is the exclusive collective bargaining agent for all Major League Baseball Players, Minor League Baseball Players playing in a United States-based Minor League, and individuals who may become such Major or Minor League Baseball Players. The Association represents those players for all purposes under the terms of the collective bargaining agreements between the MLBPA and the Thirty Clubs, including the filing and processing of grievances, and works with the agents who negotiate the players’ salaries and other added terms of employment. The MLBPA has a long and proud history of standing up for the rights of its members – past, present and future.
Job Description
The MLBPA Fellow will function much like a law clerk at any other union or union-side firm. They will be given a variety of research and writing assignments, depending on then-current demands. Where practical, the Fellow may attend arbitration hearings, grievance meetings, and other meetings with league officials, agents and players.
Typically, an MLBPA Fellow will work full-time during the summer and continue on a part-time basis during the fall and spring semesters. As a result, the Association traditionally looks to hire students from New York-area law schools. The Fellow could potentially work remotely or on a hybrid remote/in-office basis if public health circumstances permit it.
Requirements
The Association prefers applicants who will have completed a labor law course prior to the start of their fellowship and an interest in practicing union-side labor law.
