Abato, Rubenstein and Abato, P.A., a small labor and employee benefits law firm in Towson, Maryland, seeks an associate attorney with zero to three years’ experience. The successful candidate will advise clients on ERISA and employee benefits compliance, draft and review pension and welfare plan documents, and conduct legal research. In addition, the attorney will advise and advocate for the firm’s labor union clients, including at the collective bargaining table, in grievance arbitrations, in proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board, and in federal district and appellate courts.

Bar membership is required. The position offers an opportunity to work in a collegial and collaborative environment, with hybrid work flexibility. Salary range is $100,000 to $125,000, commensurate with experience, plus firm-paid health insurance and a 401(k) plan with a generous employer contribution.
