Beins, Axelrod & Keating, P.C., is seeking an associate attorney with 2 to 5 years of experience. (We will consider more experienced as well.) We represent unions in the private and public sectors in the DC area as well as “the rest of” Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Pennsylvania and Delaware. We represent and assist them in all matters related to their work: Court, NLRB and other administrative litigation; contract negotiations; legislative efforts; grievance and impasse arbitrations; and day to day counsel and advice. The associate will not be expected to just ghost write briefs and do legal research; daily interaction with union clients will be a big part of the work from Day 1.

The annual salary for this position will probably range between $115,000 to $150,000 (plus benefits), but the actual salary will depend on experience and other unique factors the candidate brings. The position will be based in our Alexandria, VA, office as the default place of work each day, but with a lot of flexibility. We would like the new associate to join sometime between July and October of this year, but we can be flexible on that as well for the right candidate.
