Beins, Axelrod & Keating is looking for a Fall 2026 and/or Spring 2027 semester law clerk. This is a hybrid position. Our office is located at 215 N. Payne St. Alexandria, VA 22314.

Beins, Axelrod & Keating is a small law firm that represents labor unions and employees. This position will include research and writing in federal and state court litigation, NLRB litigation, and arbitrations. When available, the law clerk will be given opportunities to observe and participate in arbitrations, court litigation, contract negotiations, and day-to-day client meetings. The firm represents a broad array of union clients in both the public and private sectors, including Teamster locals, teacher and college faculty locals, police unions, and security guard unions.

Law clerks earn $30-35/hour, with the expectation that they will work 10-20 hours per week. The schedule can be flexible from week to week. We would likely want the clerk in the office at least once per week.
