O’Donoghue & O’Donoghue LLP, one of the oldest and largest union-side labor and employee benefits firms in the United States, currently has an opening in our Washington, D.C. office for an associate attorney with one (1) to six (6) years of ERISA compliance experience. The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include providing advice to benefit plan personnel, trustees and unions on the full range of issues faced by all types of employee benefit plans, drafting and reviewing plan documents, service provider contracts and participant communications, and representing employee benefit plans and boards of trustees before federal courts and regulatory agencies.
Applicants should possess a deep understanding of ERISA, IRC, HIPAA, the ACA and other applicable law, a strong academic background, superior analytic, research, and writing skills, and the ability to work well with clients, administrators, other employee benefit plan professionals, and fellow attorneys.
