Rothner, Segall & Greenstone is a progressive labor law firm with a principal office in Pasadena, California and satellite offices in San Diego, California and Berkeley, California. We are currently seeking an associate with zero to five years of experience to begin in fall 2026 or potentially sooner. We represent both local and international unions in the private and public sectors as well as individuals and organizations in employment, civil rights, and governmental transparency litigation. Associate attorneys’ responsibilities include representing clients in arbitration, state and federal administrative proceedings, and state and federal court litigation as well as providing advice and counsel to union staff. Applicants should: be admitted to the California bar or have plans to take the California bar exam; have a strong academic background; and have a demonstrated commitment to public interest law. Associate attorney compensation for attorneys with zero to five years of experience ranges from $92,000 to $119,000 per year and is commensurate with a candidate’s years of relevant experience in legal practice.
